The Re-A-Dress Challenge

THE RE-A-DRESS CHALLENGE
SUPPORTED BY THE BRITISH COUNCIL
COORDINATED BY FASHION REVOLUTION CAMBODIA
Fashion Revolution Cambodia collaborated with the Cambodian Children’s Fund and K-Bach Gallery to launch the 5 month Re-a-dress textile waste design challenge.

Exposing the multi-billions of kilos left behind on the factory cutting floor each year, the challenge invited participants to re-a-dress  the fashion industry by rethinking, reusing, and recycling  textile waste.

The project distributed 110 ‘design packs’ to NGOs and individuals, challenging tailors, seamstresses, artists, and creatives to construct an art work, garment, or object made from off-cuts and scrap textile waste produced during garment production.
